300th Post (be proud of me)
I heard Parley saying something which sounded like a swear word, so I questioned him about it.
"What did you say Parley?"
"Sit, sit, sit. They're saying sit."
"Oh." I said, relieved as I looked at the girls across the street with their dogs.
Then, as if reading my mind, he said,
"I didn't say damn-it."

Oh my Heavens! I love kids. They say the absolute funniest things. What a crack up! :)
I like that kid.
Hahahaha. I love Parley. I only heard it a couple times babysitting. But sometimes Mario can be really frustrating, so I understand.
Yeah, my kids have a hard time with 'damnit' too. We were at the Farmers Market and Deacon tripped and fell and said 'damnit' as he was brushing himself off.
I admit: he got it from me. :(
hahahahaha. Thanks for the morning laugh.
That is just precious!
Nothing wrong with a few damn its once in a while. Ask my sister-in-law. They were playing a board game a while ago and their daughter (maybe 5 then) got mad about a play and said "damn it" and they said, "Oh, we don't say that," and she said, "Aunt Shana does."
Paige,
You're right, Mario can be totally frustrating. I kicked Katie in the tailbone once all because of Mario. And because she was a big jerk and turned Mario off in the middle of the last level! I think saying Damn-it would have been less offensive than kicking and hitting. Shana, if I didn't know Jed damned so much, I'd think he learned it from you too.
Linds, you can blame your aunt Shana too.
jayne. we all know you are the true sailor in the house. poor jed...always taking the blame.
hilarioius! I love that picture- seriously awesome.
