Help! I Need Somebody! Help! Not Just Anybody!

I'm ready to change faults with someone. The deal is, I'm super disorganized and scatterbrained. I lose keys, purses, birth certificates, valuable gemstones, granola bars. I've had it! You want to trade?

What you're a bad driver? Give it to me!
You've got foot odor? Constantly offending others? Bring it on!
Are you socially inept, or super nervy? I can take it!

Let's look at an example. Let's say, you are really organized, but you stink at playing tractor tipping with Mater and Lightning. Perfect! I rule at playing tractor tipping! Let's make a Freaky Friday switch!

Here's another one. You always keep track of your things and you never lose important documents, keys or snack bars. BUT, you are a terrible sweeper! Bingo! I sweep at least 5 times a day! Up for a Saturday swap?

I'm just saying, this could be sweet. Pass me your annoying habit and I'll pass you mine. It's just that easy. (Please snap fingers while reading that last sentence.)

And please make it quick, tax season is coming right up.

Aaah! So glad that I found your blog. My wife has been reading your cousin's blog for a while now and only recently followed a link to a post on your blog (dated Tuesday, December 23, 2008). I said, hmmm...that crazy sleeping guy looks like my old friend Jed. Turns out, it was! Glad that I can keep tabs on your cute family now. Tell Jed to join facebook.

Hi Jayne. Megan here. I was just staring at my stack of papers by the computer, and the other messes all around the house, AND the last of Christmas stuff that STILL isn't put away... I don't think you would want to trade me! Just be happy somebody is maybe more disorganized than you.

I am cracking up thinking about Anita thinking I was describing her! I secretly do believe she is a witch and can use powers like Hermione to turn back time since she gets more done in this world than anyone else I know.
I'm curious now, though, does this mean you're confessing to foot odor Anita?

hmmm- I guess you aren't wanting to trade with someone who thinks that cupboard looks fantastic?!

If I lived closer I would come over and whip your messes into shape in no time. I love to organize, and I am good at it.

I'm really organized but I'm guessing you've already struck a deal with someone else.

I wish we lived closer. My friends beg me to come over and organize their houses for them. I LOVE IT! If I could tell you anything it would be to get rid of most of the "stuff" you really don't use but only think you use or would "need" it at some time in the future. Do one cupboard, drawer, closet, at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself. It really is freeing to get rid of unnecessary stuff. Hugs from the COLD state of Maine!

Organizing is for squares.

What if I am only organized every three months for one week at a time? That is generally how often I make it a goal to be a more organized person and generally how long it lasts. Still want to trade? You know my faults... just think about it.

I have spent the entire week trying to organize our space. I have some ideas (well they're really 'Nita's) but I'm feeling hopeful.

Let's confer.
