This note was written after the sorry note, with "remind note" written on one side, and this written on the other:

Translation:
Dear: Parley,
Please don't do funny stuff too much ok? Especially when I'm sad because if you do that I will not laugh. But I do not mean that you can never be funny again! What I mean is you can, but not too much ok?
Love, Hazel
We can only hope he remembers.

The simple fact that she can articulate it enough to write in a letter speaks volumes; kudos to Mom and Dad.
This is my favorite so far.
It's an important lesson from Hazel to Parley. Everything in moderation, Parley. Even being funny needs to be in moderation. Hope he takes her advice.
Yay for "Note Week, by Hazel!" I love it, love it!
Poor Parley, he can't help but be funny, it is in his genetic make up. What will he do?
Oh my goodness, those bossy older sisters who have to instruct their little brothers about when and how often they can be funny (and everything else). Remind anyone of... Lindsey? Or... Paige? This is the best note so far. Hope she thinks it's funny (and can laugh about it) when she's older. I'm sure you'll "remind note" her.
Oh my goodness, what a gem you have on your hands. Hazel has proven her tenderness through her worrysome ways as well as her sweet reminders to her brother. This girl will certainly grow up to be a keeper. (Not that she isn't already) LOVE this girl!
What an articulate note! Could I borrow it to give to Dave. :)
She expresses her tender little, sweet feelings so well, bless her heart.
And then there's Parley who is funny without even trying. Haha!
Lisa
I think Hazel is awesome. Really a truly awesome. But then how could she not be with a name like Hazel?
This girl is a treasure. Seriously!
=D
What a cute little smarty-pants girl you have! I love this.
Notes by Hazel make me warm and fuzzy! Love it!
And you guys say I am a bad speller! Look who is the bad speller now! Ha!
Kate
So what if she is six!
i love that lisa wants to give this to dave.
there is nothing worse than being ticked off and having someone try to make you shake off your attitude with some funnies. sometimes we just like to be mad and not be bugged.
i'm with the bossy big sis on this one...because I am one!
Are you kidding me? This girl is a crack- up. She and Warner would get along famously. The last post about the fight reminded me so much of Warner and Dane. My favorite part about these notes is that although she wants to let him know whats up, she also reminds him that she loves him!
This is hilarious, I love reading you blog and these cute notes.
