Scolding taken...and the State Fair.

Okay, you're right. I've been chastised for neglecting my blog. So, I'm going to make it right. Forgive me and continue to make me get back to posting. My children
may go hungry and have to watch Elmo again and again, but I will not let YOU, my five special readers, down!

We went to the state fair a month or so ago. We've done it a couple of times and hope to make it a tradition along with all the other trashy folks in our state. Here are a few photos:

Mom the green bar tastes like pennies!

Smell the farm dad?

Look at the pigs Parley! Now! Look at them!

Love that carousel!

And this is when that creepy guy wanted a picture with Hazey...Oh wait, that's Jed!

Any mom who has been or is (yikes) pregnant can feel for this poor pregnant goat!

And so, after snow cones, cotton candy and a yummy caramel apple, we had a wonderful time! Our Grandma and Grandpa Wells and Mieka, Scott, Henry and Aggie made it complete. We love our Utah farmers!

Those pictures are so cute (except for that goat, that's sad)I loved the one of Parley looking through the fence. I hope I'm considered one of your five loyal readers...

Looks like a ho-down not to be missed, except Parley did look a bit bored. I like to chew on penny-tasting metal, too.

I hope that goat was having triplets.

could it be? Jayne posted something on her blog?!

oh how I love the trashy fair...buttery corn, exposed beer guts, and the smell of animal manure...

Parley is the cutest boy EVER! Next time you should let him enjoy the fair instead of locking him up with the pigs.

oh and...keep hazel away from child predators.

there is something about a mustache that sets men apart as either police officers or the men they hunt down. Jed doesn't really look like the police officer type...

Love your kids though!

Hi Jayne and Jed,
Jayne, I don't think you know me, but I am friends with Melanie and Jed from Meridian. I love your blog and I hope you don't mind I stopped by. Does Melanie have a blog? -Matisse Clyde Madden
