No Camera but this One

Since Jed left his camera at the studio, and my pentax 390 (just kidding, I don't know the number) hasn't worked for almost a year, I have the Mac camera. What I wanted to do was take a bunch of pictures of my kids' rooms, the stairs (where I throw dirty laundry--I desperately need a shute!), the kitchen and dining room all pleading for my time and energy. Or the white surfaces that Julian colored on. Instead, you get me. An experiment in Mac camera effects.

The real deal--unfortunately I cannot blame any effects on this.

wisdom cheeks Jayne

Cat woman Jayne

Children's book illustrated Jayne

Violet Bauregard Jayne

Beetlejuice Jayne (for you Linds)

Does this look like someone to you? I swear it does. Like a sort of famous person. A really strange looking famous person. I can't figure it out.

I come in peace Jayne.

Oh, and I'm missing my jr. high and high school photo album. Jed thinks it is in the shed (what? We didn't move everything in yet?). Anyway, cross your fingers, I've got a sweet glamor shot in there. In the meantime, here I am on Christmas morning. Probably 5th or 6th grade.

And a happy New Year!!

Oh Jaynie, you're killing me!

Violet Beauregard? An even better Beetlejuice guy? Catwoman? How can a gal like me be laughing so hard at 6:18 in the dang AM?

I think the famous person you're thinking of is Adrian Brody.

I'm thinking David Duchovny. I wondered about Jay Leno but, no. Definitely David Duchovny.

Oh my gosh, Adrian Brody? John Travolta? David Duchovny? Totally. I can see a little of all of them. That is so awesome. I knew I had a little bit of handsome man in me.

It looks like a mix between Ms Clavel from the Madeline stories and Severus Snape from Harry Potter.

I've been loving your blog ever since I found Cjane's and followed her favorite links. I don't usually comment, but this was such a funny post.

I'm with the Snape vote! Dead ringer. Glad you're contributing to the family gene pool!

The picture you can't put your finger on actually looks like all of James C. Christensen's whimsical painted characters. Doesn't it? (Sorry I'm Anonymous. I literally have an internet stalker and so I fly below the radar. Hope we can still be friends.)
