Yellowstone in Pictures

And now, presenting my first Bridal...
Actually, I stole this from the poor bride who was posing for another photographer a ways away. Jed is enamored with the contrast of the happy bride and the haggard, steaming wilderness behind her.

i'm a little bummed that sometimes blogger uploads the photos quite clearly and sometimes they're all steppy and nasty. like some of these.

there, i had to get that off my chest. funny, i don't feel a lot better.

I love these pictures. Yellowstone is amazing and one day, I will get there.

I love the picture of Jed and Hazel and the one of Hazel by herself. They are amazing shots.

:D

@lisa-- the coffee did the trick! suddenly i can see all things clearly and without nasty digital steps!

no, the problem is, half of these images are mine and i hate to see them all compressed and web-optimized. naturally, i love them all, but it hurts me to see them this way. it'd be like you making a quilt, but before you could show it to anyone, you had to run it through the wash a dozen times and maybe lay it out in the weather for a while.

but if you click on the image it makes it bigger and irons out the steps. that's how i make myself feel better.

These are beautiful photos. My favorite is the first one of Jayne and Julian. Looks like a wonderful trip!

Funny, I haven't had a single person book me for their bridal shots yet.

My phone must be off the hook...I'll go check.

I am very jealous. This is the trip we have planned so many times but somehow our plans get foiled by job, baby or illness. I love that place so much. i am not sure why. I think it brings back memories of my childhood. I love these photos!

Jayne, I was planning on having Jed do my bridals (yeah, he doesn't know yet) but, now that I've seen your work I'm ready to book you! Now I just need to wait a few years and find a husband...hmmm...I'll let you know.

Looks like a beautiful trip.

And Jed. I completely understand your dislike of what blogger can do to pictures.

jed. I totally feel your pain on the blogger picture problem. and pasting the url from flickr just adds one more danged step to the already time-consuming blog posts! the good news is that they look amazing on here so in "real" life they must be STUNNING.

and if that is parley playing with cars on the yellowstone boardwalk....classic!

Ooooh! I love the new fall look of your blog.

Jed, I will trade a tile floor for some design work?

Just a thought.... :)
