wow. I say wow a lot on your comment section. Anyway, I agree about daylight savings. What a bunch of hooey. And nextly, your home is beautiful. What fun to have it documented like that. I wish you would come decorate mine (after spending years collecting at antique fairs and the like).

Jayne, I love this post for 2 reasons: 1-I want my hour back. I am so tired. It takes me about a week or so to get used to this. ugh! 2-I love seeing your decorations. Better check Blooms comments. People have questions and lots of praise! :)

I heard that next year they, whoever they are, are doing away with Daylight savings. I think that is a great plan!

I love your house. When you come to visit will you please bring some colored paint in your suitcase and sneak some up on my walls? I am not brave enough to do it myself, so this is a job that's going to have to be done by you!

Jayne of Jayniemoon,

Emily of Bloom here to tell you how much I absolutely loved your home tour. Thank you for sharing it with us. Really, thank you.

I hope we'll have the pleasure of your company at Bloom again someday!

Hey, I came over here from Bloom today because I saw you have a daughter named Hazel and *I* have a daughter named Hazel too--so that was awesome, then I was reading some old posts, and I read something that Hazel wrote and she said her birthday was June 20th. Is that true, because that's MY Hazel's birthday! Seriously that's amazing! I think your Hazel is one year older than mine though, so not the actual same day. Anyway, I thought that was sah-weet.

Daylight savings blows. I LOVE your house so much. Besides all the great antiques, my favorite thing is the way you use color so well. It really inspires me! All my walls were tan when I moved into my house and while they look fine, I dream of doing something more bold. Thanks for giving me some ideas. You and your family and house are adorable.

Well get ready.... 'cause I'm moving in!! Ha ha (no, really). I LOVE your house. You have a great style and I love all the color. Could the two of you please stop being so much better at everything than everyone else? Thanks.

P.S. It's so nice to see that someone else has red couches too!! Hooray for red!

Your house looks so darling! Guess your mom having all those Country Living magazines around paid off. And daylight savings time is killing me this year for some reason! I am just having the hardest time adjusting. But I am happy that it is light later :). Love you guys.

Loved the framed wallpaper. It made me laugh.

Thanks for hating Daylight Savings with me. We're all still suffering.

Oh, you're all nice about my house. Thanks. I never post pictures of it because I fear it never really looks like that in life...

@Kayli--welcome, and how crazy that we both have Hazel's born on June 20. We would be fast friends I know it.

@codi--did you notice the Jed 924 license plate your dad gave us in Parley's room?

@Lori--ha!

@Liz--Thanks for liking the color! We got it at Home Depot--Behr, but I think I actually color matched it. I still have some--I could tell you the colorant mix they used if you're really interested!

Well, if it's not too much trouble, I'd love the formula! That is the PERFECT yellow/gold!!!

Liz--sorry I didn't get back to these comments until now!
The paint can says:
oz 48 96
D Thalo Green 00 00 1
C yellow oxid 01 19 1
ax perm yellow 02 27 0

I don't know if that means anything to you, but hopefully it helps! The brand is Behr and it is a pastel base in satin. Good luck! Tell me if you use it!
