Julian Prays (Still No Baby)

A couple of things to know is that we've done a lot of praying for people with their pregnancies over this past year. I've had a lot of family and friends who've been pregnant and or have wanted to be. Julian's prayers got whittled down to one phrase, "Please bless Chuck and Steph to have a baby." Chuck and Steph are my brother and his wife who struggled to get pregnant for awhile. Julian has a particular fondness for Chuck and Steph, so pretty soon, he cut everyone else out of his prayers. Steph is now pregnant with triplets. (Get on Julian's good side, or bad side depending on how you look at it, and he may pray you triplets too). So lately, since he's clearly helped Chuck and Steph out enough, we've been encouraging him to add a few more things to his prayers--heaven forbid a quad shows up in Steph.

"Jules, let's think about some other things you're grateful for too. What about preschool, and playing with Jones?"

First attempt: Still only Chuck and Steph.

"That was great Julian, now let's try again and see if you can add anything else you're grateful for."

Second attempt:

"Heavenly Father, please bless Chuck and Steph to have a baby, and please bless mommy's baby but I think it is a rock but it is actually a baby. Amen."

You may have the first October Wells if this goes on much longer! Or October rock, as the case may be...

Oh Jayne, I was hoping that since you had some extra waiting time on your hands that you would blog and I was delighted to find your words again! I was doubled over on the rice king deals. The whole thing is outrageous and hilarious!

Could he pray that "Carly will be released from her calling at church" please? And good luck with the baby! Can't wait for a full report. At least when the baby comes you won't need meals since you are pretty much set for life at the Rice King inside of Smiths.

Is Julian an Oracle? He sounds like my golden ticket. Can he teach me to pray? I don't know what I'm doing wrong... I would take triplets at this point!
