Those Funny, Funny, Fat Things

(photo courtesy of some hot blonde who poses while she nurses)

When I had George, I decided I wasn't going to be super discreet about nursing around the kids. I figured the less attention I gave to covering up, the less curious they'd be. Besides, as a mom, you basically give up all rights to privacy, so this decision wasn't much more than inevitability. So we talked about it a couple of times, and then they didn't care anymore. My plan seemed to have worked. Then, as I was getting out of the shower one day, (again, supposed to be time when kids leave you alone but don't,) Julian came in and started laughing and said, "Remember those funny, funny, fat things?"

To which I wondered, 'which ones?' But to which I replied, "Yes, yes I do."

Oh Jayne, I have missed you so much! And, by the way, I do not think this hot blonde has a baby under there. She's faking.

BEST POST EVER!!! I am right there with you. Sadly, I have way too many fat things to count. Oh, and I agree with Kim the hot blonde is faking.

Mine aren't fat anymore after nursing four boys for a combined total of about four and a half years but funny might apply. I just tuck them in : ). I always think those nursing covers are way less than discreet, they just scream look at mee I am nursing under this tent. You're awesome Jayne.

Reminds me of a time my 3 yr old came in on me changing into a bathing suit and said "Hey, Mom... I like your two big rounds" Boy did I feel sexy that day!
